PhD, Ana Isabel Reis began her career as a radio journalist. Her doctoral thesis focused on the audio files of the radio news, posted on the radio websites. She has ever since conducted several case studies on this subject.

Research interests: radio, radio history, radio and the internet, in particular, the sound and radio journalism on the web, the new digital platforms for radio production and radio history, and teaching of journalism laboratory experiments.
